Elk camp this year has been just what we needed. With all of the difficulty of the last year, we were desperate for some peace and quiet. Out here in the wilderness, all I can hear is the sound of the wind moving through the pines. Just a few miles away, the sweet sound of rushing waters is soothing to my soul. Yesterday I woke up to see several deer playing right outside our cabin. Beautiful!This very needed reminder of the presence of God has been medicine for my hurting heart. No matter now difficult things may seem, God is still here. No matter how often people hurt us, God is still love.
