Chocolate Chip Cookies

This is the recipe I usually use for chocolate chip cookies.

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 cups rolled oats (blended into flour)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
Cream butter and sugars.  Add eggs and mix well.  Add in vanilla extract
In another bowl, mix together flour, oat flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.  Slowly add the flour mixture into the creamed mixture.  Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts.
Bake @ 350* for 10-12 minutes or until almost done.  If you remove them from the oven before they look completely cooked, they will stay soft and pliable.
