Hot Chocolate Pudding

It's finally getting a little bit cooler here. All it takes is the tiniest nip in the air to put me in the mood for hot chocolate pudding (or pumpkin anything, or apple anything). I just love fall! This was the easiest recipe for hot chocolate pudding. Now, I know that most people eat their pudding cold, but we must be different. Plus, we don't have the patience to wait for it to cool down so we have discovered that we like it hot.

What you do is mix 1/2 cup sugar with about 3 tablespoons cornstarch and 1/3 cup of cocoa. When it's mixed, slowly add about 2 cups of milk. Cook slowly until it boils and thickens. Then pour in about 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream. That's it! Serve in bowls with a sprinkle of cinnamon and a dollop of whipped cream.
